Who I am
The story behind the work, the lifestyle, and the person.
About
I’m someone shaped by the outdoors, real work, and the people who make the Midwest what it is. I grew up fishing, hunting, and spending time around lakes and woods with my dogs — the kind of lifestyle that teaches you to stay grounded and appreciate the simple things. Today, I blend that life with the work I do professionally, supporting construction and service‑based businesses while creating photography rooted in authenticity. This page is the personal side of my story, the part that explains who I am beyond the work.

Who I am
I’m a Midwest guy through and through, someone who values the outdoors, good people, and a grounded lifestyle. I grew up fishing, hunting, and spending time in places where life moves at the right pace. I’m not someone who chases trends or tries to be something I’m not. I’m someone who documents real life, whether that’s a day on the water, a morning in the woods, or the work people do every day.
My Life Outdoors
The outdoors has always been home for me. Fishing is a constant, but hunting is just as much a part of my life — early mornings, crisp air, quiet woods, and the rhythm of being outside with purpose. My two black labs are usually right there with me, whether we’re on the boat, in the truck, or walking shoreline.
I’ve never been much of a golfer — mostly because I’m terrible at it. I’d rather be in a boat than looking for a ball in the rough, and the only “swing” I care about is the one that sets a hook. The outdoors just makes more sense to me.
Most of the outdoor photography on my site comes from real trips, real hunts, and real moments. Nothing staged. Nothing forced. Just the lifestyle I actually live.

Built From Real Work
Before I ever worked in marketing, I spent years in landscaping, fencing, construction, retail, and service jobs. I learned how to talk to people, how to solve problems, and how to show up. That background still shapes how I work today direct, practical, and grounded.
How My Life Shapes My Work
I work with industries I understand because I’ve lived in them. The outdoor lifestyle, the construction world, the service trades these aren’t abstract concepts to me. They’re part of my life. That’s why my photography feels real, and why my client relationships feel natural. I’m comfortable in these environments because they’re familiar.
